“Wildness reminds us what it means to be human…”

A writer… I’m also a hiker, biker, someday-again climber, lover of stargazing under a dark night sky, and an avid grower of food and flowers (I’m a certified Master Gardener!). Nature, family, friends, and time in the great outdoors are my sources of inspiration. And I find the greatest joy when all those wonders come together.

For nearly a decade, we made our home in the pine forested Boise Mountains above the Payette River where our dogs and chickens could run free. Itching for a change, we recently traded our mountaintop for the open road. These days we’re traversing the country in a travel trailer visiting family, friends, new places, and keeping an eye out for where we want to put our roots down next.
